Poker Easiest Games For Beginners

I think 5 card draw and Texas Hold em are the easiest types of poker to learn and play. 5 card draw is simple: make the best 5-card poker hand possible after one draw, and bet accordingly. The player with the best hand after the second betting round takes the pot. Texas Holdem has more rules to follow but is easier to learn than most other forms of poker.

I've never played 5-card draw before but it does sound a lot easier than Texas Hold'em. I've been trying to learn how to play Texas Hold'em for awhile now and I never realized just how complex and how much skill you actually need to be good at this card game.

Texas Holdem has a pretty sharp learning curve, but once you get over it, the game itself is quite straightforward. The complexity comes from reading the people you are playing with. 5 card draw is a good way for newbies to get to know all the different hands, the probability of drawing certain hands, and basic strategy.

I have never been good at learning the people I am playing with but I have only heard of Texas Hold'em. I heard a friend of mine once say that the 5-card draw is probably the poker type we have been seeing in movies or the TV. I wouldn't be surprised to hear that over time, variations to the traditional rules have occurred.

I hear every Poker enthusiast talk of Texas Hold'em as a must-know for every Poker player. I consider myself a beginner but this looks like something I can give a try and be a master at. Within no time, the harder versions may not be things to really worry about.
