Slots Don’t you hate it when.....

... you sit and play a slot for 15 minutes, a few wins, a few losses, but you end up about evens. Hop onto the next machine and then watch someone else come and take over on the machine you were on, only to get two bonus features within three spins!!:mad::mad:

Gotta love those slots!

Uhg! Yes this is the absolute worst thing ever! It seems to be happening to me a lot lately! I guess I am picking the right machine but not staying at it long enough! You just never know!

I’m glad I’m not the only one - although I’m sorry that it keeps happening to you too. I think if I did that to someone I would feel a bit guilty. Although it is just pure fluke, there surely has to be an element of guilt?

This has happened to me as well. A friend told me that it is a strategy of more experienced players to watch until you leave and then go after it if you haven't really won. I was so bummed out.

Oh well that sucks! Surely there should be some sort of etiquette where people don’t sniper other peoples machines ha.
Ah well. I guess all’s fair etc

And it seems to be the nice little old ladies that are standing by waiting for your machine! Maybe I should start using this strategy to see if it would work for me! Actually I'd get too antsy waiting and could not wait for someone to finish up on a machine!

I tried to do this once, however, I couldn't stand the waiting! I wanted to play and so I left. As soon as I did leave, the lady left and my friend sat down to the machine and won a good amount. I was really bummed about that. I guess I just have no patience!

Ha this is just absolutely typical and exactly the kind of thing that would happen to me.
I have no patience either and when I want to play I get that itch and it cannot be ignored so I certainly couldn’t wait.

Well at least it was your friend that won the money instead of a compete stranger. I think it's a little easier to take when it's a friend who wins on the machine you wanted.

That’s a good point.

June - I hope your friend at least bought you a drink out of it o_O
Otherwise no more trips to the casino with her haha.

Even though I haven't experienced this myself, I can imagine how it would feel to leave a slot just when you are about to win. I doubt if I would stay in the casino if such a thing happened.

I know it’s just a stroke of bad luck, and that you shouldn’t take it personally, but when this happens I don’t think you can help but feel like you’ve been kicked!!

Exactly my point @MonkeyGirl. In all the years I have been gambler, the only feeling that I have never been able to get over is the failure to win. The feeling of being kicked is such an awful one.

And yet we keep on going back and doing it again and having another try, don’t we @lordcole ??
I guess you can’t enjoy the highs of a win without experiencing the lows of a loss.
