Gambling is certainly addictive. I know a few friends of mine who'd sworn that they'd never participate in gambling. Eventually, they started playing and I cannot imagine they are the same people I knew back then.

From a personal point of view, I'd say that there was a time I was so hooked to the extent of being an introvert.

There was time I was struggling with addiction and the irony of it all is that before starting out, I used to mock my friends who kept on losing.

Gambling requires discipline and self-control at all times. You need to have the thinking cap on and regulate the frequency of playing. Nonetheless, this often easier said that done.

There is always that possibility that any gambler can get addicted and I have learned not to judge anyone that I notice being seriously hooked to gambling.

Gambling requires a lot of discipline, and it is common to see newbies get so ambitious at times.

Nonetheless, it is something that anyone can get out of.
