General Do you limit your loss ?

I like to keep my gambling under control and part of that is by setting my own rules. One of my rules is that if I lose more than 100.00 in a month, I stop for the month.

Sadly I did that today. So I'll see you again in November.

Sorry to hear you're out of the game for the rest of the month, but I think you're doing the right thing. I also play on a budget and I know if I didn't, I could really get out of hand.

It's always good to play on a budget. There's nothing as sensible as knowing when to get a break.

It is interesting because players tend to have different levels of perseverance. For me, even a loss as low as 10.00, counts. I always try to work out a way of reversing it.

I think it really comes down to how much spendable cash you have to lose and that's going to vary from person to person. My income can be inconsistent, so I usually adjust my betting budget accordingly every month.

It definitely varies from one person to the other, but I think that the single most important thing is knowing when to stop. It is better to give yourself a break after losing so that this doesn't affect your daily activities.

I agree that setting limits is important and this varies from one gambler to another. I think I have lost more than 100.00 before but I went on and won 200.00 during my next bet.

I know people who can never stop until they recouped what has been lost but this is a move that can easily backfire on someone.
