Slots Cheating at slots with electronic shock devices

Ive seen advertised devices that give the slot machine an electric shock of some kind. Its called flashing the eprom or something like that. I think it is probably bullshit but does anyone have any experience with it?

I know of the light wand which worked by blinding the hopper payout mechanism. It doesnt work these days.

I would not try it even I have that kind of device. I will surely be in big trouble if the casino finds out I'm trying to cheat. If anyone has the balls to use it I would like to hear his experience.

Same here. I would never do anything that might get me into trouble, but I am really curious to know if these things do work - although I doubt anyone will admit to being a criminal right here on this forum :D

The last time I saw something like that discussed it was in a James Bond film. I find it very unlikely, since I've worked with ticket kiosk machines and they are specially hardened to prevent that sort of interference so I suspect slot machines are also protected. All flashing the eprom does is reset the machine by wiping the memory, and you don't flash an eprom with a random electric shock. You might force it to restart, which might be useful if you were on a losing streak.

I am not sure if these devices work or not but I would lean toward them not working. Even if they did work I would not want to end up in jail for trying one of them!

I can't believe something like this would work.
The slot machines and what they rake in are so profitable that there must be huge investment put into stopping precisely this.

Screw all that. Just pay attention to when Brinks, or another cash handling service, shows up at your casino of choice. If they come on Thursdays, play your slots on Friday.

Seriously. Try it a couple times.

I'd never want to try any such thing because this looks like such a huge scam. Why would anyone want to cheat when there's always every chance that they'll be caught? I would never want to be on the wrong side of the law whatsoever.

Friday, Saturday, whenever
I'm playing on those slots every time I go to the casino!
I wouldn't try to cheat the machines, is be too worried about getting banned.
