General Conservative vs Aggressive gamblers

Which among these two groups do you relate to? At times, I'm conservative and other times, I go all the way and make crazy bets. It is much easier to win $1,000 with a stake of $200 than it is to win $500 with a stake of $5. In my opinion, you are able to get modest but more wins if you bet conservatively, as opposed to betting aggressively.

I've always been aggressive in everything I do. As long as I have enough information and skill to proceed confidently then that's the way I choose to play. It's way more exciting in the long run.

I think that a good player will have to be able to play both ways. The trick is to know when to play conservatively and when to be aggressive in order to minimize your losses and maximize your returns.

I see your point of basically having a better outcome when you're betting higher and more aggressively. However, I'm definitely a more conservative gambler due to the fact that I'm cheap and don't like taking risks.

I think it all comes down to the level of confidence that the player feels. The more confident you are that you know what you're doing the more likely you are to take more risk and so be considered an aggressive player.

I guess you're right and being aggressive usually comes with time, practice and a sense of being self assured. I would advise beginners to be more conservative gamblers until they are sure of what they are doing.

I believe that sometimes whether a player is aggressive or conservative might be attributed to their mood or attitude at the time of observing them. One player may seem aggressive one day and totally the opposite at another game.
