Casinos Casinos offering sports betting

This is a bit new to my area, but several casinos are expanding to offer sports bars and sports betting. It seems natural to me to have it all under one roof, but I know there are people who object to this. What do you think? Is this already established where you are?

I've never been to a casino that offers sports betting amongst the others forms of gambling. I have been to a sports betting arena and IMO, I'm amongst the people who prefer not to have everything under one roof. Sportsbetting attracts a lot of people in comparison to say, slots. It makes sense to have a sports bar/arena on its own.

The buzz in a bookies and a casino is really different. A lot of the bookies and sports bar go very quiet during a race or event, so I'd rather not have casino noise going on in the background if I'm concentrating on a sports bet. If they were in the same building but kept very seperate that might prevent the distractions.

I agree with you @Tolly. Actually having them under the same roof doesn't necessarily mean that they have to interfere with each other. I'm picturing a scenario where the casino and sports bar are under the same establishment but with different entrances.

Having it under one roof is a brilliant idea, as it is becoming common to have gamblers who want to try out other games in the casino. Like @Tolly says, having them in separate rooms will rid the casino of unnecessary disruptions.
